Field Trip Fun: Where Our Preschoolers Get to Go

8/5/2019

At Mother Hubbard, we believe part of the fun of preschool is getting outside of the classroom and into the community. Both our three-year-old and four-year-old classes enjoy exciting field trip experiences.

A few of the three-year-old preschool class field trips include:

  • A visit to the cider mill for donuts, cider and pumpkin picking.
  • A trip to the farm to visit the animals, meet the farmers and enjoy a wagon ride.
  • A end-of-the-year party at the bowling alley to learn a new sport with preschool friends.

A few of the four-year-old preschool class field trips include:

  • A visit to the cider mill for donuts, cider and apple picking.
  • A trip to the Marquis Theatre to see a play.
  • A visit to a local gymnastics facility.
  • A trip to the farm to feed the animals, milk cows and ride horses.

Our field trip experiences may change from year to year, depending on the schedule and availability of the locations that host us. However, no matter where we go, we always make sure that our field trips allow our Livonia preschool students to try something new, learn more about our community and make wonderful memories while having fun with their classmates!
